if you complete a mission on Hard mode get masters- or equivalent shouldnt it count for the normal mode as well? i think so hard mode is much harder then normal. and it would make it so people who are going for a title can get them much easer its not like they need to prove that they need to do it.

If you can do it in HM, then you should be able to do it in NM.

oh man there soooooo different. um no its the exact same but with different lvl monsters. with the exception of factions where they change the time it takes, for good reason. so why should i have to go back and beat it again in normal mode? or an even better idea if you get the title Guardian of ___ you should also be reward the title Protector of ____ the same area this would eliminate a lot of grind.

the fact is that you have to receive the reward for NM completion and HM completion too then at the same time
not a good idea to me

so when you have all your titles what are you gonna do then? whine about how boring the game is and what anet should add to make it more intresting? whereas if theyd have just stuck with this system you would still have things to do

It's only logical. How would rewards work though?

The timed missions would work odd for rankings too though, but if we're lucky ANet calculated their HM timers by percentage so they can simply undo them to find the NM equivalent.

theres soo much you can do in this game besides missions to get titles and allot of those titles need a lot of grind. i for one am almost there i have Tyria done with both titles have protector for cantha and am 5 missions away on hm need about 6 for elona and 10 missions done in hm i just wish i didn't have to go back and some of those 10 missions that i did in hm i wish i didn't have to go back redo them so i can get the credit for it.

Move onto PvP when you're done with your titles and stuff. Either that or start going for new experiences, as in profession-wise.
Although I didn't sign, grind isn't fun, but it's mainly next to effortless in NM.

Doing the same mission twice, once again on NM once you've already done in on HM doesn't show player skill or ability. Its not like you are showing your prowless at repeating a mission in NM you've already mastered in HM. It is the very definition of grind... uneccessary and repetitive activity that is done soley for some sort of in game reward (granted, a lot like most titles now anyways).

Edit: All the people trolling with "shut up" are just people who are angry that this option didn't exist when they got their title. Its like the people who got Cartographer before texmod calling people who get the title now "cheaters." They are doing the exact same thing you did, you are just mad that certain things came out to "devalue" your title.

If you bust through it in hard mode, it's redundant to have to go back in NM. I believe a part of progress is getting rid of redundancy.
